Take profit (TP) คือ
จุดกำไรหรือจุดกำหนดที่ตั้งเป้าหมายราคา โดยหากราคามาถึงจุดที่กำหนดไว้ ระบบจะทำการปิดออเดอร์ให้ทันที ปกติมักจะกำหนดขึ้นมาจากจำนวน pips หรืออาจคิดแบบ % ของจำนวนเงินทุน
Stop Loss (SL) คือ
การกำหนดจุดตัดขาดทุน ว่าจะให้ปิดจุดที่เราเปิดออเดอร์ไว้ที่ราคาเท่าไหร่ แต่ในตลาดForex การตั้งจุดตัดขาดทุน ก็อาจจะเป็นการหยุดตัดขาดทุนกำไร เช่น ตอนนี้บวกอยู่ที่ 20 จุด หากตั้ง Stop Loss ไว้ที่ 5 จุด เมื่อกราฟราคาพุ่งไปจุดที่ติดลบ Stop Loss จะปิดบวกที่ 5 จุด

ทำกำไรได้อย่างแน่นอน
เมื่อกราฟวิ่งมาถึงจุดที่เราต้องการ ก็จะทำกำไรให้ทันที โดยที่เราไม่ต้องกังวลอะไรเลย ดังนั้นจะเห็นได้ว่า การตั้งค่า Take Profit กับการเทรด Forex ถือว่ามีประโยชน์อย่างมาก
ไม่ต้องเสียเวลานั่งเฝ้ากราฟ
ไม่ต้องเสียเวลาไปกับการนั่งเฝ้ากราฟตลอดทั้งวันทั้งคืน เพราะเพียงตั้งจุด Take Profit และเมื่อกราฟวิ่งมาถึงจุดที่ตั้งไว้ ระบบก็ทำเงินและปิดเก็บกำไรให้เราทันที
